Larry Thomas
Co-Founder
Biography
Larry Thomas is the Co-Founder of Venture Alliance Real Estate Enterprise, LLC with over ten years of real estate investing experience. Larry is responsible for executing the investment strategy, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and portfolio management for the firm. Larry is also responsible for community development which includes the identification of undeveloped areas and partnerships with government officials to create affordable housing for Veterans, homeless individuals and families. He also co-chairs the firm’s executive committee. Larry is also the chairman of the investment committee and the co-chair of the executive committee.
Larry spent over twenty years working at Marsh & McClennan Companies, Inc. (MMC) which is a global professional services firm that provides insurance brokerage, risk management, investment advisory, and management consulting. Larry served as Vice President of Finance for the New England region where he was responsible for partnering with key executive stakeholders to adopt and implement strategic priorities that resulted in consistent revenue growth and profitability for the region. Larry’s other experience at MMC included financial oversight of a $270 million-dollar portfolio operation, financial forecasting, and reporting to ensure adherence with General Accepted Accounting Principles and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
Larry has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a concentration in International Finance from Wagner College. He is also the Founder for Veteransville, Inc., which is a non-profit organization responsible for connecting Veterans to long-term stable housing while facilitating access to supportive education, employment, and health services.
As a goal-oriented real estate and finance expert, he possesses strong skills in leadership, decision making, strategic planning, problem-solving, project management, compliance and is adaptable to change in the most dynamic of environments.
Askari Foy

Biography
Askari Foy is the Co-Founder of Venture Alliance Real Estate Enterprise, LLC, and an award-winning senior executive who has been successfully leading business teams toward the achievement of goals established to maximize returns on investments. Askari has expertise in real estate investing, development, acquisitions, dispositions, including finance, business strategy, regulatory compliance, and the financial markets. Askari is responsible for the firm’s growth and strategic direction, developing investment strategies for the firm and investors. Askari is also the chairman of the operating committee and co-chairs the executive committee.
Askari has twenty-five years of investment management and regulatory experience working with investment advisers and investment funds, specifically real estate and private equity funds. He also served as a senior executive at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) responsible for protecting the securities markets and investors and promoting a market environment that is worthy of the public’s trust. As a senior executive at the SEC, Askari served on three national executive governance committees responsible for developing policy and industry risk priorities. In the private sector, he has worked in leadership positions at investment firms such as Credit Suisse Asset Management, and at PricewaterhouseCoopers providing consulting to real estate and investment management and firms.
Askari has both a Master of Business Administration degree in Executive Leadership from Emory University as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Point Park University. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Public Accountant, and is the Vice President for Veteransville, Inc., a non-profit organization responsible for connecting Veterans to long-term stable housing. His additional expertise includes corporate governance, enterprise risk management, financial statement analysis, and investment products and operations.
Askari uses his executive and thought leadership experience to empower people, build businesses and alliances, and lead change. He describes himself as approachable, practical, a long-range visionary, a mentor of others, and a person who acts with integrity.
